Weebly

Weebly is a great web tool for making your own website domain that can create any sort of website that you wish to have!  You can add a homepage, a page for products (if your site is a business), and much more!  There are links to add for a contact form to receive emails from Weebly, add photos of your product, set prices for your products (if it is a business), and add descriptions about your items! Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a web browser that has many great features!  Some of the features include those on
the Chrome App Store!  The app store has many games, themes, and other features!  Themes include
almost anything you can imagine like your favorite sports team or dogs and cats!  Some apps on the
chrome store include photo editing apps, different video games, different business tools, and many
more!  One of the apps includes a weather radar that shows the weather forecast for your area!  The
Weather app is great because otherwise, you wouldn't know what the weather will be like in your area!
The website also has many extensions that link to different categories such as sports, social networking,
fun sites, entertaining games, and much more!  Here is a link to the Google Chrome app store!

SMORE

SMORE is a fun website where you can flyers to advertise anything from parties to food stands!  Here is a link my flyer!

StoryJumper

StoryJumper is a fun story making website where your imagination is the limit!  There are many backgrounds and props available to make your story!  I made a story using this site!  Click here to read my story!

Go2Web20

Go2Web20 is a site that has different links to all sorts of web tools.  Some of the web tools include powtoon and pandora.  Powtoon is a fun website where you can make different slide shows about any topic you wish while using animated characters and different pictures, transitions, and word fonts!  Pandora is an internet radio site where you can type in a genre of music and it plays different songs from different artists!  It is a great way to pass time or to have music while performing different activities during the day!  Here is a link to Go2Web20!

Firefox Themes

Firefox Persona is an add on site from Firefox that allows you to customize your browser with different logos and themes!  There are also other things to do on the site including shopping tools, games, and much more!  Some of the games include an online piano, board games, and a lot more! The games are a great and cheap way to pass the time when on your computer!  Here is a link to Firefox Themes!

Study Stack

Study Stack is a fun and easy way to study any category you can think of!  From foreign language to sports, StudyStack has it all!  When studying, you can play hangman, matching games, and much more using the category that you are studying!  You can also create your own study stack about whatever you please!

TeachWeb2

TeachWeb2 is a website that allows the user to do many different things!  There are many side links that lead to educational sites, creation sites, and many more!  Some if these tools include Adobe Buzzword and Art Snacks!  On Adobe Buzzword, you can store documents, write papers, create graphic designs and much more!  It can store up to 5 Gigs of memory, it is free, and it is a great replacement for Microsoft Word!  On Art Snacks, you take free online art lessons by watching videos and following instructions on the screen.  It is completely free although it requires a username and password.  You can also showcase art that you made by posting it online for others to see!  The site is always updating because people can add their own tools on to the site that they find interesting so there may be more web tools in the future!  Here is a link for TeachWeb!

FotoFlexer

On on FotoFlexer, you can take any photo and apply drawings, distort the face, and many others!  When on FotoFlexer, there are many decisions to make when editing the photo.  Once the photo is complete, you can save them to any social networking site and also post them to your blog.

PhotoFunia

PhotoFunia is a photo editing site that allows the user to add their face to the face on a different picture. They also appear as a different person (vampire, wizard, etc.) in order to add effect to the picture!  It is a fun way to pass the time or to explore the many templates that the site offers!  These photos were made with PhotoFunia!

Bloggif

Bloggif is another photo editing website that allows user to to turn pictures into .gif files (animated photos/videos). It is a fun and entertaining way to spice up your photos with a little personal touch! Bloggif has many options to edit your pictures including animated cubes of pictures and many more! I created these using Bloggif!

Pizap

Pizap is a photo editing website in which you can make pictures into memes, add characters to the picture, add text to the picture, and much more!  It is a fun way to add your own ideas to any picture that you choose!  As you see below, you can make pictures humorous or serious, depending on your feelings towardd that picture!

PowToon

PowToon is a cool tool that allows you to make different slide presentations using words, animations, and shapes! I made this internet safety presentation about internet safety using PowToon!

Tagul

I made this with Tagul! Tagul is a type of word program that allows you to make different pictures out of words! Its great for sports teams and other things as well!

Wordle

Wordle is a neat way to personalize your activities, friends, family, or any other type of words you want!  What you do is you type any words you want and it makes it into a cool poster type presentation of those words!

Google Voice

Google Voice is a great tool that allows you to stay in contact with people wherever you go!  It is a service that allows you to link a phone number with your computer so you can talk with anyone anywhere as long as there is Wi-Fi!  Voice also allows you to connect with other phones as well under the same number so people can call one number and all of the connected lines will ring! It is a great way to stay in contact with your family or friends wherever you go!

Stykz

Stykz is a very cool type of frame animation that is available on the internet!  It as an application that allows the user to make short or long clips (depending on how much time you have) using stick figures! It is a great way to express your self as you can make almost anything using different shapes and stick figures!

Drawing Tools

There are many cool tools that are available to use on the internet.  One of the cool tools include drawing tools!  Some drawing tools include FlamePaint http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/flame/  and Slimber http://slimber.com! On FlamePaint, you can create drawings/paintings that look like flames!  It is cool to create different drawings with different colors and designs!  You can edit the focus of the cursor which makes it more or less spread out, and much more!  On Slimber, you can make any drawing you wish and record it from the website so other people can see a step by step way on how you drew you picture!

Visitors to My Blog

While looking at my blog's visitors, I have noticed that although there are not as many visitors as the more popular blogs, there are visitors from different countries which is cool!  Having different visitors from all around the world is a good sign for my blog because it means that more and more people are going to view my blog if it becomes popular!  A lot of my blogs visitors are from my local area but I have had some viewers from Greece and Korea!

Avatars

Avatars are computer-made life forms that can represent anything you want them to!  You can make animals, monsters, strange looking people with some crazy features, or you can make an avatar to look like your self!  Some examples of avatar-makin websites include DoppelMe, Build Your Self Wild http://buildyourwildself.com, SP Studios, from the show South Park http://www.sp-studio.de, and many more!  Although these websites do not allow your avatar to speak, you can still personalize them by adding many different features, items, and backgrounds to your avatar.  Avatars are a great way to express yourself online!

Google Hangout

A Hangout is a form of online video chat that is offered by Google.  A video chat is a face-to-face chatroom that is available to use on Google and many other companies offer this as well.  The big difference with Google Hangout is that it allows up to nine people total on one chat room while other chat rooms such as Skype and Facetime allow only two total people in one room.  This is better because it allows you to talk to more than one of your friends at a time!  Another cool feature with Google Hangouts is that you can use sound effects and also add creativity by putting backgrounds and costumes that appear as if you are wearing them while you chat with other people.  Google Hangouts is a great way to be socially active with friends all around the world, and you don't even need to leave your house!

Google Products

There are many cool products that google offers to people to use.  Some of these products include drawing shapes and pictures on the computer, typing papers, making slide show presentations, and even exploring the world using Google maps or Google Earth.  Some cool features about the drawings and the tool that lets you type documents is that you can invite friends to type on the same document but from a different computer!  That is very useful when you and a partner have to work together on a project for work, school, or just want to have fun!  Some other Goole products include language translators, news sources, book/magazine stores, a social networking site, and many more!  Google is an all around great tool to use for either work or fun!

Blogger Gadgets

The blogger gadgets that are available to add to your blog are both fun and helpful.  A blogger gadget is a tool that can be added to your blog through blogger.  The gadgets offered span from a calendar and world clock to a mini game that can entertain for hours.  The blogger gadgets are a great way to personalize your blog so that it will be more enjoyable for visitors or your self.  In order to add a gadget, you have to click on design in the top right corner, layout on the middle left, and then click add a gadget on the right.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a great tool for social bookmarking.  A social bookmarking website is a website that is used for storing links on a page.  The links are named and also have an icon that you can customize.  Another great feature is that there are webmixes.  A webmix is a tool where you can search for a certain  subject and there will be an entire page of link tiles that are specifically dedicated to that topic.  You are able to put a link to any page that you wish to have on your page.  Another great feature is that you can personalize your page by adding a back round to your page.  You can choose from a selected amount of photos or you can upload your own photo.  Symbaloo is a great tool!

Voki

Today, we learned how to make a Voki avatar.  A Voki is an online avatar that you can make to use on blogs or anything else on the web to symbolize an online version of you or make something goofy and fun.  On Voki, you can use many different layouts for the characters you customize.  You can be anything from a shark, an alien, or the president.  There are many different ways to customize your Voki.  You can change the hair color, hair style, skin color, eye color, and many more including the jewelry they wear.  Another feature on Voki is the ability to make them speak by adding text or by recording your own voice!  Overall, Voki is a fun way to personalize your blog!

My Time on the Internet

Whenever I am on the internet, I am usually on USA Today, Facebook, or Twitter.  I also use google for whenever I have questions about anything.  I also face time friends using my home Ipad.  Facebook and Twitter are both used to connect with friends and family using social networking.  You can share pictures and posts with everyone that wants to see them.  USA Today is used to read the latest news around the world and is separated into different categories of news.  Face time is used for face-to-face chat online with friends and family.
